WHAT WILL BE OUR ROI?
“What will be the ROI of our work together?”
This is a question that comes up periodically from prospective clients.
We can happily share with you some facts and figures. For example:
Over 90% of our work comes via referrals from past and present clients.
Many clients have been with us for 5+ years, and that many of our in-house programs have a wait list.
If we are looking at hard data alone, based on averages, our clients typically see an annual cost savings of between $180,000 and $480,000 based on retention statistics alone.
Many of our clients have increased their revenue by 30-50+% each year that we have worked together, and many have had their top revenue years (ever) during the years that we have been working together.
However, it is simply not possible to prescribe ROI on behalf of our clients, because at the end of the day, our work together is based on the things that are most impactful to you and your organization.
As a result, we explore potential ROI with you, as part of our initial discovery work. We talk about the things that matter to you most, and what will be possible within your organization as a result.
ROI is based on many things —the nature of the work we do, the size of your organization, your revenue, the number of people who will be participating in these programs, and ultimately the things that you value most.
We will talk about these things together, up front, before we agree to work together to ensure that we are on the same page and that our goals are aligned.
Leaders at our most successful clients typically say something along the lines of, “We know that this is something we need to do, and we know that it is impossible to put a hard number on the impact of this work.”
We end to agree.
If you’re thinking through this question within your organization, some questions to consider include:
What is leading us to explore this work?
What could be possible for our organization if we do this?
How important to us is this work?
Who are the decision makers for this body of work, and how can we ensure they are involved in the right conversations up front?
Who on our end will be the executive champion for this work?
What are the results are are trying to accomplish?
In a best case scenario, what will be different a year from now?
What harm, stress, challenge, or sticky points will be alleviated as a result of this work?
How might this work help us to be our best?
How might this work impact our bottom line?
What if we do nothing?
If you’d like to talk more about the ways in which this work could positively impact your organization, please feel free to drop us a note anytime. We’d love to talk with you.
